The Matchstick Square Paradox
You are given 4 matchsticks arranged in a cross (plus sign). Can you move exactly ONE matchstick to create a perfect square?
The Solution: Slide one of the matchsticks outward just a tiny millimeter. The four matchstick ends at the center of the cross now form a tiny, perfect empty square!

The 9-Dot Puzzle
Imagine a 3×3 grid of 9 dots. Can you connect all 9 dots using only 4 straight lines without ever lifting your pen from the paper?
The Solution: This is the origin of the phrase “Think Outside The Box”! You must extend your lines outside the imaginary square boundary formed by the dots before cutting back through diagonally.

The Two Glasses Water Illusion
Glass A is tall and very narrow. Glass B is short and very wide. Both contain water filled to 5 cm height. Which glass exerts more hydrostatic pressure at the bottom?
The Solution: The pressure is exactly identical! Hydrostatic pressure depends strictly on fluid density and vertical column height (\(P = \rho g h\)), not the shape or width of the glass.

The Clock Mirror Riddle
You see an analog clock in a mirror showing 3:15. What is the actual real time on the physical clock?
The Solution: The actual time is 8:45! In a mirror reflection, the hour hand slightly past 3 reflects to slightly before 9, and minute hand pointing at 3 reflects to 9 (45 minutes).
